Page Overview

To edit pages, login to your backroom and then click on the “Pages” button. When you click on the button, you will go to a page with a list of all your pages and the page button its self will open up and have two new options under it: Edit, and Add New.

On the “Pages” page you will see a list of every single page on your website. You can edit them, delete them, or do a “Quick Edit”.

Quick Edit

Quick Edit allows you to change simple things like the page order, page title, page parent, and the page status from published to unpublished (temporaily hidden from the public’s view).

Main Pages

Some pages like “Home” don’t have a dash in front of them. This means they are main tabs on your websites navigation.

Sub-Pages

Some pages have a dash in front of their title. This means they are sub-pages or pull-downs in your website’s navigation menu.

Special Pages

Other pages have a dash in front of them and a dash behind them. They look like this “-sidebar-”. These pages are special pages. The sidebar page contains the content that appears in your website sidebar (such as the online Bible and your Church location).

Don’t delete any of the special pages.

Note: the page “-header-” will not do anything if you edit it. It is for our design team to use when adding a custom logo to your website should you chose to go that route. Special code needs to be edited in order for it work.
