Name and Password

Here you will learn how to do two simple tasks: Change your password, and add your name to be displayed on your website.

Changing your Password

  1. Login into your editing room
  2. click the “Users” button
  3. Click the username of the user with the password you want to edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your new password in the section called “New Password”
  5. Hit the “Update Profile” button at the very bottom of the page

If the password has changed successfully, you will get a message at the top of the page in little yellow box that says “User Updated”.

Add your Author Name to appear on your website

When ever you write a blog post on your website, your name will appear at the top of your post. By default it will display your username. Here you will learn how to make it display your real name or a nickname that is different from your username.

  1. Login into your editing room
  2. click the “Users” button
  3. Click the user who’s name you want to edit
  4. Enter your first name, last name, and maybe even a nick name in the “Name” section of the page
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the “Update Profile” button
  6. Go back to the “Name” section and select your preffered name from the “Display Name Publicly as” menu
  7. Scroll back down to the bottom of the page and hit the “Update Profile” button again.
